1. Agreement

By using Lala Words you agree to these terms. Lala Words is meant to be used by children with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the child's behalf.

2. The service

Lala Words provides free educational mini games for learning words in several languages. We work hard to keep content accurate and child-friendly, but translations and pronunciations may occasionally contain mistakes. We may add, change or remove features and content at any time.

Some word lists are created with the help of AI and published after automated checks for safety, age-appropriateness and accuracy. If you find anything unsuitable or wrong, please tell us at hello@lalawords.com and we will fix it quickly.

3. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• copy or scrape the content in bulk, or resell it
• try to disrupt, overload or break the security of the service
• use Lala Words for any unlawful purpose

4. Intellectual property

The Lala Words name, the mascot, original content and code belong to Lala Words. Third-party images and fonts are used under their licenses, listed on the Image credits page.

5. Your progress data

Progress is stored only in your browser. Clearing browser data, using private browsing or switching devices can remove it. We cannot recover it.

6. Disclaimer and liability

Lala Words is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

Lala Plus

Lala Plus is an optional paid plan for parents that removes the daily limit on free plays. Every game stays free to play. Plus belongs to a parent account and works on every device you sign in on.

Prices are listed on the Prices page and shown again before you pay: card plans in US dollars, bank transfer (QR) plans in Vietnamese đồng.

Card plans (Creem)

Card payments are sold and processed by Creem, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Creem is the seller of record for these payments: it charges your card, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT for your country, and sends your receipts. Creem's terms for buyers apply to the payment itself; these terms apply to Lala Plus.

Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in "Manage plan and invoices"; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for and nothing more is charged. The lifetime plan is paid once.

Changed your mind? Write to hello@lalawords.com within 14 days of a card payment and we will refund that payment in full; Plus from it then ends. Later, payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Deleting your account cancels renewing plans.

Bank transfer QR (PayOS, Vietnam)

Bank transfer (QR) payments in Vietnam are prepaid for 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or for life and never renew. They are not refundable: if you stop using Lala Plus, it stays on until the paid time ends.

If you paid and Plus is not on after an hour, write to hello@lalawords.com with the time and amount of the transfer.
